The intersection of storytelling, narrative change, social and environmental justice, spiritual and moral imagination and systems thinking is where I define my genius zone. My purpose lies in a spiritual conviction: the urgency to unravel narratives that underpin oppressive systems and redesign them towards regenerative futures for people and the planet. The different titles I hold are simply vehicles for me to exercise this purpose into reality.

My genius zone lies at the intersection of justice-centered design, moral and spiritual principles, arts and culture, human rights, environmental justice, and pop culture-driven narrative change. My purpose is to catalyze social transformation by uncovering the truths of our histories and helping imagine more prosperous, liberated futures. Titles are simply vehicles to bring this purpose to life.

from my world

“It is rare to find in one remarkable human the twin qualities of deep, rigorous thinking and infinite care and love. That is simply who Mina is and the type of person that a world desperately trying to unshackle itself from the flawed thinking of the past needs.”

JenTodd Khozeinny Wilson
Co-CEO of SecondMuse

“Mina is such a great asset to the program design process. Her ability to meet artists and creatives where they are, and ask the truly important questions without creating a feeling of intrusion or extraction is honestly amazing. She created a system that truly captured the voice and unique experiences of the artists in our community, and helped us create a cohesive creative ecosystem for artists that is a great fit for our city.”

Vania Word
Executive Director of Battle Creek ACC

“Mina is undoubtedly amongst the top systems thinkers I’ve ever met and designed some of the most powerful programming I’ve ever had the pleasure to participate in. Her ability to transform a system into an idea, a question, a program, an activity, or something entirely new is unrivaled, and teaches me to do the same. Her gift for design and creativity has had a direct influence on my professional and personal growth and continues to inspire me.”

Arielle Geismar
Co-Chair of Design It For Us

“Working with Mina is a transcendent experience—I’ve yet to work with or be taught by someone who so elegantly balances teaching opportunities with friendship and community. The amount of personal and professional growth I have experienced, facilitated by Mina’s gentle but firm guidance, was truly amazing. I’ve gained a friend, mentor, and an invaluable supporter in my time working with her.”

Primo L. Goldberg
Social Impact Analyst of Hopelab

“Her orientation for justice in design, facilitation and leadership is palpable and can move groups of people with passion and commitment. I have experienced Mina’s wizard-like facilitation skills in intimate, highly structured and challenging conversations unpacking our work that spans environmental systems change and circularity, justice and equality and technology for good. She is also able to carry a large group in virtual and in person settings by breaking down barriers and bringing folks from a multitude of experiences into a place of shared understanding. Mina is committed to large-scale systems change and recognizes the ways in which micro leads to macro change in her day to day activities.”
